I have a crush on one of my neighbors. There are couple of cute neighbors in my building, but one in particular has a strange affect on me. Every time I see him, I turn into a complete idiot. Seriously. I don’t know what happens to me. I get frazzled and nervous. I either don’t have anything witty to say. Or, I say something that makes him blush. Which basically means I make a sexually suggestive joke in a way that objectifies him. (Mom, if you’re reading this, yes, you heard me right. I have a dirty, dirty, mind.) Best of all, pretty much any time I see my cute neighbor I look my worst. It’s usually at the end of long work day when I’m exhausted and look tired or after the gym when I’m sweaty and and my hair is a mess. (more…)

One of my favorite things in the world is my Tuesday night spinning class. This ranks on top of my favorite things right next to sushi, chocolate and expensive jeans. I rarely EVER miss my Tuesday night spinning class because A) I love spinning B) I love Adam’s spinning class and C) I need to relieve my stress on the bike especially when I’m experiencing a dry spell. The only times I miss this particular class is if I get out of work too late, when I’m sick, or have a birthday celebration to attend. (more…)
On my way back from my Sunday ritual, spinning class, I decided to stop by the farmer’s market in Hollywood. I always try to go to farmer’s market on Sundays, but it rarely happens. So today, I told myself that, if I find a parking spot anywhere near the farmer’s market, I’m going to park and go. (more…)
Valentine’s day is my most hated holiday. I think at some point in my past life I must have pissed off someone because I have the longest running streak of being single on Valentine’s day. I think the last time I actually had a “Valentine” was 1996. So here’s my list.
- Working in an office where every girl is engaged (or married). This means every girl, with the exception of one particular girl, is getting flowers. Next year, I’m sending myself some flowers. (more…)
