That’s right. Hillary Clinton would be leading by as much as 600*** delegates…

I was trying to figure out who would lead the race if the the democrats had a winner-take-all primary system similar to the Republicans or to how the Electoral College decides elections. So I put together a little chart, with the numbers. If Obama won the state, I gave him all the delegates for the state. If Clinton won the state primary, I gave her all the delegates for the state. I did not count the super-delegates. (more…)

Today, Bill Richardson joined the parade of mostly white, male politicians endorsing Barack Obama. I find it interesting that the guy who benefited so much from the Clinton administration, decided to endorse Barack Obama, instead of Hillary Clinton. Why? I noticed that there’s a picture of John Edwards on Hillary Clinton’s myspace page. I wonder if this means that Edwards is going to endorse Clinton.  I actually would love to see Edwards back in the game, as a VP.  I’m only speculating that he might endorse Clinton but if he does, I wonder if it means that he’ll be Hillary’s pick for VP. It’s still a close race, but I think Hillary’s getting really close to getting the democratic nomination. I know a lot of people are really excited about Barack Obama and really want him to get the nomination, but Hillary Clinton is a much better choice. Obama will make a great president in 8 years, after getting more experience in DC politics as a Vice President.  And a Clinton/Obama ticket has a much better chance of beating McCain. I’m just throwing it out there.

Did anyone really think that Obama had a chance of winning Nevada? Yes, Obama is popular and charismatic. That’s great. But what people don’t realize is that Latino voters are more likely to vote for Hillary, a white woman, than for Obama, a black man. This is where racial politics comes into play.

During this election, Latino voters will play a deciding role in presidential politics. Most Latino voters are turning away from Republican candidates due to the “anti-immigrant” stance many of these candidates have taken in their policy-making decisions. And amongst minority groups, there has always been racial conflict between Blacks and Latinos. Sad, but true. So I predict, that in California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas Hillary will be the winner.
