Monday morning I was having one of “those” days. It was my first day back at boot camp after a week off. I got in my car at 5:30 a.m. and realized that I don’t have my house keys on my keychain. I was so emotionally drained that I actually did not panic. I figured I can wake up my building manager – after I’m done with boot camp – to get the spare keys. I felt bad about waking him up early so I stopped by a coffee shop and got him some coffee and a croissant. I go knock on his door, feeling less guilty about waking him early, and turns out that he’s not home. He’s out of town for couple of days. (more…)

Loss

My grandfather died on Saturday. He was 87. The last few months I had been feeling an urgent need to go Armenia. And I finally decided that I was going to go in September. Sadly, I didn’t get a chance to see him alive. He died in his sleep. Now he can chase after my grandmother in heaven.
May he rest in peace.
